New Look, Same Mission – Our Logo Refresh is Here!

The San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society is excited to reveal its refreshed logo—a thoughtful evolution that celebrates our heritage while embracing a modern, flexible future.

For decades, our beloved logo featuring elegant American Avocets has symbolized our deep connection to the wetlands and wildlife we strive to protect. Recognizing the trust and recognition this imagery has built, we remain committed to preserving its spirit. The new logo keeps the iconic American Avocets front and center, now with a heartwarming twist: the parent and chick connect through shared eye contact, underscoring the nurturing bond at the core of our mission.

The redesign, led by Alex Tomlinson, sharpens and simplifies the logo for today’s varied applications. From digital screens to printed banners, the updated design ensures legibility at all sizes.

This refreshed visual identity is not a break from the past, but a graceful continuation. It reflects who we are today and reinforces our enduring commitment to conservation, education, and community. Our new logo highlights the bond that defines us—wildlife, family, and care.

We’re proud to share this next chapter with you. Here’s to the future—rooted in legacy, ready for tomorrow.
