Love learning about new habitats? Curious about wildlife? Our Junior Rangers at the Refuge program is perfect for your family! Join us each month as we explore the Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge through fun, educational activities.

This May, we’ll immerse ourselves in the special slough habitat through a visit to the floating dock. We’ll learn about its unique plants and animals while enjoying peaceful views. Then we’ll dive deep into how sloughs connect us all to the Bay through an interactive activity, complete with puppets!

Our Junior Ranger program is perfect for families with elementary-aged children.

Other Considerations:

• Please register each parent and child for their own ticket. This helps us know how many attendees to expect.
• Parent/Guardian must remain with child for entire program. Younger siblings are welcome!
• Driving Directions: We recommend using Google Maps to navigate to 1751 Grand Blvd, Alviso.
• Wear comfortable clothing, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes. We also recommend bringing a filled reusable water bottle, and you are welcome to bring a lunch or snack.
• ADA-compliant parking spaces, trails, and restrooms/portable toilets are available on-site.
• With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in this part of the refuge.
