California Coastal Commission’s Explore the Coast program funding

The San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society would like to thank the California Coastal Commission’s Explore the Coast program for funding a $50,000 grant to bring more school children from low-income areas to the San Francisco Bay coast to participate in our environmental education programs!

Through their generous support we will be able to hire interns to help with education and outreach to under-served communities so that our San Francisco Bay, its abundant wildlife, and the work of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

We were also awarded some transportation funds, and you can help match these donations with individual contributions to support our organizational costs as well.
