Nature Store restocked at Don Edwards SFB NWR in Fremont

The Nature Store at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Fremont has been restocked with new hats, shirts, books, and more!

Volunteers staff the store from 10am to 2pm Saturdays and Sundays. The Nature Store is co-located with the Visitor Center at 2 Marshlands Road, Fremont, CA 94555.

Come visit, support the Refuge with your purchases, and if you are a supporting member, please let them know before your purchase is rung up.

Programs

Each Sunday also features an exciting, free public program that will allow nature enthusiasts of all ages to learn more about the Refuge:

Accessibility Considerations

* Parking is level with Visitor Center.
* Ramps and single disabled parking; however, most parking has options for access from side.
* Disabled restroom access (limited; no handrails) inside the Visitor Center.
* Picnic tables are only wheelchair access from ends.

Other Considerations

* Driving Directions: We recommend using Google Maps to navigate to 1 Marshlands Road, Fremont, CA 94555.
* Restrooms will be available on-site in the form of an ADA-compliant portable toilet and hand-washing station.
* Bring a reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste.
