Marsh-In Summer Camp! • August 1-5, 2022

Join us for the annual Marsh-In Summer Camp program held at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Environmental Education Center in Alviso. Camp will be held from Monday, August 1 – Friday, August 5.

Our summer camp program combines technology and outdoor activities for a safe and engaging experience for campers and their families. This year's camp will include Live Zoom sessions with Refuge Rangers & Biologists, fun self-guided activities, and an opportunity to return to the Refuge in-person!

In order to provide an opportunity for families of all comfort levels, we are excited to host this year's camp in a hybrid model. Activities provided can be done in the comfort of your home, local green space, or at the Refuge. We are also excited about this year's addition of Friday's in-person camp session at the Environmental Education Center.

Live Zoom sessions with Refuge Rangers and Biologists are Monday and Wednesday from 10:30am-12:00pm. Friday is planned for in-person from 10:00am-2:00pm but is subject to change.

Requirements

Campers must be entering grades 1-6 in Fall 2022, have access to the internet via a computer or tablet, and attend all days of camp. All activity materials will be provided in a Camp Kit.

Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, July 6th. Selections are made by lottery. Acceptance notifications will be sent on July 13th. Must return permission slips by July 30th. Log-on instructions will be sent on July 30th and camp begins on August 1st.
