Family Story Walk at Fremont - A Home for Salty
Explore the habitats of the Refuge through a story book & activities! Stories are a great way to connect children & families to nature. Join us for a self-guided Story Walk through the habitats of Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Fremont! As you walk down the trail, stop and read the story about Salty, the Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse, who is looking for her perfect home (habitat).
This event is brought to you by the San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society (SFBWS). Funding is provided by Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program (SCVURRPPP) and Cargill, Inc.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
