World Shorebirds Day Tour

The Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge is a haven for shorebirds. In honor of World Shorebirds Day, join us and the Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance for a beginner- and family-friendly bird outing. We will discuss the wildlife refuge and provide an introduction to shorebirds and a few identification tips!

location. We will meet at the Shoreline Kite Flying Area parking lot in Mountain View and plan to walk 2-3 miles round trip.

Other Considerations:
* Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to check in.
* Wear comfortable clothing, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes.
* A portable toilet is available at the Shoreline Kite Flying Area parking lot.
* Reusable water bottles are a huge plus and are a great step to reducing plastic pollution.
