Date:
Friday, October 11, 2024 - 5:00pm to 6:30pm
Venue:
Environmental Education Center, 1751 Grand Blvd, Alviso, CA 95002

Dive into the fascinating history of Drawbridge and then take a short stroll along the marsh at sunset.

Join Ceal Craig, Ph.D., a 20+ year volunteer for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, for a unique opportunity to dive into the history of Drawbridge, a 'ghost town' that once housed a thriving community on an island along the South San Francisco Bay. How did this community survive in the marshlands? Why is it now a ghost town?

The presentation will take place in person in the auditorium of the Environmental Education Center of the Don Edwards SF Bay NWR and will be followed by a short sunset walk!
